What your registration gets you: highly trained, caring, university+ staff people teaching a nationally lauded outdoor education program in beautiful outdoor location for three full days!
There is substantial cost to offering small group programs in the age of COVID-19. Three staff people are required to be onsite for any program, even one group of just two students. Paying our excellent staff a living wage and providing extensive training are our largest expenditures. We also have had a large uptick in the cost to manage COVID-19: masks, hand sanitizer, sanitization stations, extra staffing, cleaning time. etc. add significant cost. We also pay rent to the camp property owners, plus higher insurance rates and the like. We are currently working to raise funds to provide partial and full scholarships to students so that any student can attend! If you are interested in sponsoring a student, contact Elissa Kobrin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
