Operation Shoebox

Operation Shoebox!

Every year our amazing Camp Fire Club Members wrap hundreds of shoe boxes and stuff them full of comforts for our community members who are experiencing homelessness.

The youth from our clubs solicit gifts of new warm socks, gloves, toiletries, hand warmers, hats, snacks, small games and toys for children, and much more and distribute them to our community partners: Looking Glass, Shelter Care, and the women and children division of the Eugene Mission.

We will be having a “Stuff the Box!” Box stuffing party at our office in our conference room on Monday, November 12th, 2018 (Veteran’s Day). Rick Dancer will be broadcasting live, we are inviting representatives from the nonprofits being served, and there will be snacks! On this day of honoring those who have served, it’s a great opportunity to give service to the most vulnerable of our community members. Want to join the fun? Respond “Going” on our event page here!  It’s from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM at our office in the second floor conference room!
