Jennifer Jamieson started practicing yoga when she was 18, in 1996. She completed her first YA accredited 200hr teacher training with her long time teacher, Sarahjoy Marsh, in 2007. She started teaching shortly after, and went on to complete her IAYT accredited Yoga Therapy training, also with Sarahjoy Marsh, in 2013.
Her Yoga Therapy training included accessible/adaptive yoga, restorative yoga, strength and conditioning, Ayurvedic principles, meditation, and mindfulness. She continues learning by attending and assisting various trainings including Sarahjoy’s Trauma Informed/Brain Sensitive training, which is one of her main interests. She applies and teaches these skills in her public classes and private yoga therapy sessions.
Jennifer also took an AY accredited 500 hour yoga teacher training with her teacher Scott Anderson, the founder of Alignment yoga. She then started co-teaching Alignment Yoga teacher trainings in 2016.
Jennifer is a single mom and finds that her yoga practice benefits her most by being present, especially with her family and friends. She loves exploring and playing in nature and is a big curious kid at heart.
Libby Cox, E-RYT 500, TIYT, R-PYT, YACEP, is a mother of twin boys, an educator and a dedicated student of the body. With degrees in art, dance and education, a 20-year yoga practice, and a penchant for storytelling, Libby’s teaching approach is passionate, compassionate, and witty. Teaching yoga since 2004, Libby has served on faculty in yoga teacher training programs in the USA and abroad since 2010. Most notable are Libby’s studies with Patty Townsend, Judith Lasater, and Douglas Brooks.
Years of study have sustained Libby’s long time love of connecting an exploration of mind and breath to well-informed, creative, somatic movement. She loves the support that grows from practicing in community, and she believes that yoga is a philosophy that nourishes the capacity for resilience, both individually and collectively.
Libby is the director of Two Birds Yoga Training, based in Eugene, Oregon. She is also a co-owner of Balanced Hot Yoga, and leads international yoga retreats with One Yoga Global. www.twobirdsyogatraining.com
